I carried a Hasselblad X-Pan for years. It was, and still is a small and brick like thing which serves well as a paperweight here in front of me as it awaits its second coming in 2021. This is classic X-Pan. I remember taking the picture walking down the street and stopping only very briefly, guessing the exposure whilst looking skyward as tourists with camera's do in Manhattan. The World looks amazing through an X-Pan using its 30mm lens and raised viewfinder. For anyone keen but not quite that enthusiastic enough to return to rolls of film and sketchy metering, The Hasselblad X1D ii has a crop function which turns it into a digital X-Pan through which the World will become amazing again. Its an absolute steal at about £5400 (joking slightly) .. and with an adapter by Hasselblad will take the original 30mm on board.
